IMartz verdict

Pros

  • Plenty of space and detail for gaming and work.
  • Well-adjusted colors and deep blacks.
  • Fast response and a USB-C connection that also charges your laptop.

Things to consider

  • HDR brightness falls in scenes that illuminate much of the screen.
  • High and DTM brighten the image at the expense of fidelity.
  • Like other WOLEDs, it may show banding in some dark tones.

A good fit if…

  • You want a large screen for immersive games and multiple windows.
  • You want to combine high resolution and fast response on PC.

Consider another option if…

  • You prefer a flat screen or do not have room for its 39 inches.
  • You need to maintain high brightness in bright full-screen scenes.

Test note · EOTF tracking

References measured with Gamer 1 and the Manual setting, at both Peak Brightness Low and High. Low tracks the reference quite well at 10 %, although it slightly darkens some midtones. High brightens shadows and midtones, especially at 2 %; it offers higher peak brightness but lower fidelity. DTM increases that brightening, so I would leave it off if you want to preserve the original image. Full-screen brightness is around 300 nits, with compressed highlights.
