What makes a monitor worth recommending
Affiliate status alone does not make a monitor a good buy. What matters is what it offers for your use, its limitations, the available price and the alternatives in the database.
The automatic guides and monitor finder use those data to select options. The selection may change when prices are updated or new models are added; it is not a list of positions purchased by stores.
The website does not cover the entire market. A recommendation is a selection from the registered models and available data, not a guarantee of having found the best deal across all stores.

Where prices come from
Monitor pages, the catalogue, comparison tool and recommendations share the same pricing system. The date shown alongside an amount tells you when it was checked or reviewed.

This is the latest valid quote obtained from the pricing service. Amazon is not queried on every visit, and not every product returns an amount, even if its link works. Price and availability may change after the check.
Indicative price
This is a reference entered and reviewed manually. It can be used when an automatic quote is missing or for a case that needs manual handling. It is labelled as indicative and is also used to calculate the monitor finder’s budget; it does not guarantee that the store still offers that amount.
No price available
If there is no valid quote or current manual reference, the link lets you check the store. No price is invented and there is no assurance that the monitor fits your budget.
Coupons, deals and variants
A coupon may become available or disappear, and an automatic check may not reflect it. Check the final price, seller and variant before buying. If a link leads to a newer version or an alternative model, read the notice and check the differences.
How to read a rating
The editorial rating summarises my opinion at the time of the review, with the context explained there. It is not recalculated with every deal: a highly rated monitor may stop being a good buy if its price rises.
