Pros
- Absurdly good motion clarity at 1440p and 540 Hz, with OLED's virtually instant response.
- Spectacular design, transparent back, premium metal stand and extremely comprehensive ergonomics.
- The only glossy 540 Hz Tandem WOLED monitor available.
Things to consider
- Very high price, and the 280 Hz model is much more sensible for most people.
- Factory calibration is worse than on the 280 Hz model, although still good.
- 720 Hz mode requires dropping to 720p, with a huge loss of sharpness at 27 inches.

- Extreme competitive gamers who want the maximum refresh rate and motion clarity.
- Users who want to experiment with 540 Hz and 720 Hz mode, even if it is not the most practical choice.
- Those who want the most complete 1440p Tandem WOLED currently on the market.
Consider another option if…
- You want the smartest OLED buy for the price, because the 280 Hz model makes much more sense.
- Banding / DSE bothers you.
- You expect to use 720 Hz mode a lot without noticing the resolution loss, because 720p looks clearly poor at 27 inches.

TrueBlack 500 and the HDR modes with brightness locked brighten shadows and midtones. At brightness 100, the midtone boost is much larger: highlights become stronger, but the image moves away from the reference. In scenes with a large lit area, the brightness limit reduces highlight intensity.
