IMartz verdict

Pros

Very strong value when it drops to €400
Very good PS5 compatibility, including 4K supersampling at 120 Hz and VRR
Full brightness unlock, even in SDR

Things to consider

HDR Peak 1000 is less well calibrated than on more expensive QD-OLED models
USB-C limited to just 18 W charging
The glossy finish means more pronounced reflections and may show a magenta tint in strong ambient light

A good fit if…

General gaming and mixed PC/PS5 use
Users who prefer a glossy finish and prioritize image quality
A QD-OLED without compromises, with good build quality and stand.

Consider another option if…

You want to use USB-C as the main connection to charge a demanding laptop
Your room has a lot of direct light or reflections that are hard to control
Its price is around €500, as better options are usually available for less

Test note

HDR with APL Middle closely tracks the reference in shadows and midtones. Peak 1000 boosts small highlights but also brightens midtones and shadows considerably. Available brightness falls as the lit area grows.
