ASUS ROG XG27AQDMG Gen2 / XG27AQDMGR
PanelWOLED
A glossy surface. Reflections tend to look more defined; avoid windows or lights facing the screen.
IMartz verdict
Pros
- Pure, clean, clear glossy finish paired with the WOLED panel.
- Very good PS5 compatibility and many extra features.
- Very good ergonomic stand.
Things to consider
- Slight loss of HDR color compared with some competitors.
- Weak calibrated sRGB mode on the tested unit.
- No USB-C, and text could be better due to the subpixel layout.
A good fit if…
- Those seeking a glossy 27-inch 1440p 240 Hz OLED with extras such as a presence sensor.
- Competitive gaming and single-player games with OLED blacks.
- PS5 users who want 4K 120 Hz SS, VRR, ALLM and HDR
Consider another option if…
- You prioritize more well-rounded, saturated HDR from the first firmware version
- You need USB-C with laptop charging
- You will use it for many hours of text/office work and are sensitive to fringing

HDR performance
Brillo pico, volumen de color, EOTF y experiencia HDR real.
Test note · EOTF tracking
TrueBlack 400 brightens shadows and midtones, although it stays closer to the reference than the boosted-brightness settings. Raising brightness to 100 allows stronger highlights but also makes midtones much brighter. This setting is best reserved for those who prefer a brighter image to more faithful tracking.
