AOC AGON AG326UD

Name: AOC AGON AG326UD
Brand: AOC

A very appealing 32-inch 4K QD-OLED if you find it cheap. It offers OLED blacks, good sharpness, instant response and HDMI 2.1, but with significant compromises: weaker HDR than its 240 Hz siblings, factory calibration that needs improvement, 165 Hz and a clear loss of color gamut in HDR.

PanelQD-OLED

IMartz's note: AOC AGON OLED models lose color gamut coverage when HDR is enabled. The advertised SDR coverage does not, on its own, describe HDR color performance.

IMartz verdict

Pros

Fairly inexpensive 32-inch 4K QD-OLED.
Brightness has not been cut back despite the low price.
HDMI 2.1, USB hub, built-in speakers and full PS5 compatibility.

Things to consider

Clear loss of color gamut coverage in HDR, the monitor's biggest technical flaw.
Weaker HDR than 240 Hz 4K QD-OLEDs, with a less balanced Peak mode.
Factory calibration could be better, especially whites, grayscale and out-of-box accuracy.

A good fit if…

If you find it much cheaper than another 32-inch QD-OLED with similar specifications.

Consider another option if…

The main problem is that for 50 euros above its lowest price of 600 euros, there are 240 Hz alternatives without these flaws
You dislike QD-OLED panels because of the magenta tint.
Bulky stands are a problem for you.

Test note

DisplayHDR closely tracks the reference with small windows. HDR Peak increases highlight brightness but darkens midtones and highlights as the lit area grows. Picture, Movie and Game brighten midtones at the expense of reference accuracy.
